KidFest is a non-profit, registered society that works with community businesses, sponsors and groups to provide the local and visiting public a wonderful, fun-filled day of exciting musical entertainment, interactive activities and quality family time.
The Society is comprised of an executive board (Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary) of community members who volunteer their time to plan this annual event. There is usually a number of directors or members-at-large who also assist in planning by taking on coordinator roles along with the executive members. Coordinator positions are: Wristband Activities, Stage Entertainment, Site, Volunteer, Food Vendor, Community Booth and Sponsorship. These positions become vacant each year and are filled at the AGM usually held in February.
